Terms & Conditions

1) Descriptions:

At Ace of Shades, we strive to provide the most accurate digital representations of our products. However, please be aware that due to variations in computer monitors and settings, the colours and shades may differ slightly from what you see. During your free quotation, we'll provide samples of the blinds you order, allowing you to make a more informed decision and see how the fabric may complement your space. As such, minor variations in shade or colour upon delivery may not qualify for compensation or rejection of items.

2) Measurements:

 

At Ace of Shades, we offer a complimentary quotation service where our experts will measure your windows for you. You can rest easy knowing that we take full responsibility for any measurement errors and will rectify them accordingly. This ensures you have complete peace of mind when placing your order with us. 

3) Made-To_Measure:

 

At Ace of Shades, our made-to-measure blinds are custom-crafted to fit your specific window dimensions, ensuring a perfect fit every time. Please note that due to their personalised nature, we cannot accept cancellations or returns. While we strive for your complete satisfaction, we cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction regarding quality or colour choice. To assist you in making an informed decision, we offer samples and expert advice, ensuring you can choose with confidence. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. 

4) Fabrics and shades:

At Ace of Shades, we understand that fabrics can vary in shade and tone due to the dyeing and printing processes. As such, we cannot guarantee that shades will match previous orders or samples. If you have any questions about our designs and patterns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to provide you with the best support possible.

 

5) Tolerance:

​At Ace of Shades we want to ensure your satisfaction with our made-to-measure blinds. Please note that all blinds may have a slight tolerance of up to +/- 3cm due to the fabric cut. Unfortunately, we cannot replace or refund orders that fall within this fabric limit, as this is a standard practice in the industry. Thank you for your understanding!

6) Deposit 

​To proceed with your blind order after receiving your quotation and confirming your chosen style, we require a 50% deposit of the total cost before placing your order. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance of 50% will be due upon completion of the supply and fitting of your blinds.

7) Order cancellations and alterations:

 

When you order goods through Ace of Shades, you enter into a legally binding contract. Please note that under the Consumer Regulations 2013, blinds are excluded from the legislation, and the 7-day cancellation rights do not apply to made-to-measure goods. You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as the products have not yet been ordered. If manufacturing has begun, a refund will not be possible, so please contact us promptly if you need to amend or cancel your order.

8) Privacy Policy 

At Ace of Shades, we are committed to complying with GDPR regulations to ensure your personal information is protected. We securely store your details, including your name, telephone, email, and address. You have the right to request a copy of our GDPR policy at any time and can also ask to see or request the destruction of any personal information we hold about you. Please note that if you choose to have your information destroyed, it may affect the warranty of your product if we cannot verify your purchase.
